The National Cyber and Information Security Agency (NÚKIB) serves as the central administrative authority for cyber security in the Czech Republic. Its responsibilities include protecting classified information in IT systems, providing cryptographic protection, and implementing the public regulated service of the Galileo global navigation satellite system. NÚKIB also acts as the National Coordination Centre (NCC-CZ) under EU Regulation 2021/887, supporting activities such as building certification capabilities and promoting the involvement of Czech entities in EU-funded projects.
